dentist could determine our age
By Mauro Navarro
Did you know that if we could just see our mouth, and nothing more, the dentist could determine our age and our sex? The first molar is called "molar of the six years" because it does not come out until age 6. The adults who already have left permanent teeth can know if they are older or younger: very worn teeth indicate that the person is an old, while the teeth are in good condition at a young. Also in adults can find out the sex, usually the teeth are large and small males to females, although there are intermediate cases in which sex is difficult to establish |
